83-year-old Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, who did not vote in the recently held Lok Sabha polls, cast his vote in suburban Bandra on Tuesday. He also urged the people of the state to oust parties which were dividing the Marathi votes, and topple the ruling Congress-Nationalist Congress Party government in the state. His veiled attack was obviously directed towards his estranged nephew and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray.

MNS chief appeals to oust Cong-NCP


Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray cast his vote at a polling booth in Balmohan Vidyamandir in central Mumbai's Dadar area.

On the polling day, Raj said that the people of Maharashtra are well aware of the corrupt practices of the Congress, and will surely oust it from power.
