Indian National Lok Dal leader Om Prakash Chautala today said his party is the "only alternative" to the Congress in Haryana and claimed that success of a recent rally is an indication of wave in favour of INLD.
"There is a wave in favour of INLD...the success of Jind rally two days ago is a clear indication that people of state have made up their mind to wipe out Congress," the Jat leader said, addressing a series of election meetings in Ellenabad assembly constituency from where he is in the fray.
Taking a dig at Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, he said, "The people are eagerly waiting for October 13 to cast their franchise to throw out the corrupt Bhupinder Singh Hooda government from the state."
Chautala, who is also contesting from Uchana Kalan seat, alleged the state is reeling under power and water shortage woes.
"Without greasing the palms of officials, no work can be get done during the Hooda regime."
Chautala claimed that if voted to power he would provide uninterrupted power supply in the state. "Such arrangements will be made that there is no power cut for even a second in the state," he claimed.
