The Congress on Wednesday said a group of children "playfully" stoned the train carrying its leader Rahul Gandhi back from Punjab to Delhi.
Congress general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi said it was not an attack on the train but some children in the age group of 10-12 years had hurled the stones "playfully" near Panipat.
