The Congress on Wednesday said a group of children "playfully" stoned the train carrying its leader Rahul Gandhi [ Images ] back from Punjab [ Images ] to Delhi [ Images ].

Congress general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi said it was not an attack on the train but some children in the age group of 10-12 years had hurled the stones "playfully" near Panipat.
