MP: Four suspected terrorists arrested

Four suspected terrorists who were arrested on Wednesday by the ATS and Madhya Pradesh police, were remanded to police custody till November 30 by a local court in Jabalpur.

All the four suspected terrorists remanded in police custody by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Sharad Chandra Saxena, were arrested in a joint operation conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad and the local police in the Char Khambha area of the city, police said.

The arrested - Afroze and Azad are residents of Jabalpur, while Imran and Amjad hail from Jaipur in Rajasthan. All the four men are suspected to have links with the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) outfit, they said.

Their lawyer Naeem Khan told PTI, that police had caught them on October 30 but their arrests were shown today.
