Terrorists decamp with rifles from police post in Kulgam

Suspected terrorists tonight decamped with five rifles from a police post in south Kashmir's Kulgam district, police said.

"Five rifles have been snatched from a police post guarding the minority community in Samnoo village in Damhaal Hanjipora area of the district," a police official said.

He said police have taken cognisance of the incident and senior police officials have rushed to the spot.

The official said a departmental inquiry would also be ordered to ascertain the details.
