Delhi's Covid count surges; logs 2726 cases, 6 die

Delhi recorded 2,726 fresh COVID-19 cases on Thursday, a big jump from the previous day's count of 2,146 new infections in the national capital.

As many as six patients succumbed to the virus while the positivity rate stood at 14.38 per cent, said Delhi health department officials.

There are 8,840 active cases in the city now, said the officials.
