As the bodies of the 13 dead are taken to the Sulur airbase, locals line both sides of the road to pay homage. Locals showered flower petals as ambulances carrying the mortal remains of CDS Bipin Rawat, his wife and other personnel who died in the Coonoor Helicopter Crash, leave from the Madras Regimental Centre in the Nilgiris district.
