India COVID-19 tally 1071

The total number of Coronavirus positive cases in India rises to 1071 (including 942 active cases, 99 cured/discharged cases and 29 deaths), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said.

However, there have been eight new COVID-19 cases in MP with the state tally now 47, and a 45-yr-old COVID-19 patient dies in Gujarat with the state toll reaching 6. These two new figures are not part of the 1071 cases put up by the government.
