Lok Sabha passes bill to grant 10 per cent quota to general category

The constitutional amendment bill to provide 10 per cent reservation in jobs and educational institutions for economically weaker sections in the general category has been passed in the Lok Sabha.

It will now face the test in the Rajya Sabha.
