A five-judge bench led by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi will hear the Ayodhya case.

Other four judges are Justice SA Bobde, Justice NV Ramana, Justice UU Lalit and Justice DY Chandrachud.

On January 4, Supreme Court said an "appropriate bench" on January 10 will fix the date of hearing in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land title dispute case.

The hearing had not even lasted 30 seconds.

Various Hindutva organisations have been demanding an ordinance on early construction of Ram temple at the disputed site.
