Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Biarritz. Trump backs off, says India will discuss Pakistan bilaterally. "We spoke last night about Kashmir, Prime Minister really feels he has it under control. They speak with Pakistan and I'm sure that they will be able to do something that will be very good. I am sure India, Pakistan will sort out the differences."

PM Modi responds that Kashmir is a bilateral issue and no third party can mediate.

"All the issues that India and Pakistan have are bilateral in nature, and we do not wish for any other nation's involvement.

"India is the world's largest democracy. Over 700 million voters decided India's government. India and America both democratic nations will work together for the welfare of the world.

"All of India and Pakistan's issues are bilateral in nature, we don't want to burden the world with them. I am confident that India and Pakistan, who were the same before 1947, can discuss and resolve all differences."
