BCCI asks Rahul Johri to provide explanation within week over #MeToo allegations

The Committee of Administrators of the BCCI has asked Rahul Johri to submit his explanation within a week over the sexual harassment allegations made against him.

Earlier, Johri, CEO of the BCCI, was named by a Twitter user, posting on behalf of another woman.

In her post, the user shared two screenshots containing a detailed account of the woman who has accused Johri of taking advantage of her on the pretext of offering a job opportunity.

Rahul Johri is responsible for BCCI operations, stakeholder management, building strategies and for further promoting cricket in India. Before his stint with BCCI, Johri served as Executive Vice President and General Manager South Asia for Discovery Networks Asia Pacific.
