With Tanushree Dutta's sexual harassment allegation against Nana Patekar, the #MeToo movement has now hit close to home. Her allegations have got the film industry divided while some including Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Renuka Shahane, Richa Chadha, Swara Bhaskar, Sonam Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Konkona Sen and Anurag Kashyap have supported Tanushree and urged people to not silence women, other biggies of Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan refused to answer the question.

Nana Patekar, who announced on Monday that he will hold a press conference and address the issue head-on, has now received support from Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut.

In a statement, Raut has said that he knows Nana well and his words should be heard. He has been quoted as saying, Nana Patekar is one of the biggest actors of Bollywood. We know Nana very well. I think Nana's words need to be listened. He has sent a legal notice to her also.

Tanushree Dutta has accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of their 2008 film Horn Ok Pleassss. While Nana has denied the allegations, a few eyewitnesses have confirmed that the alleged event did take place on the film set.
