Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has booked four suites in the VVIP guesthouse on Mahatma Gandhi Marg. In a letter to the estate officer, Akhilesh has requested that four suites be reserved for himself, his wife and Kannauj MP Dimple Yadav, as well as Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Seth and Surendra Nagar.

An estate department officer confirmed that four suites were booked for the SP leaders but they did not move into the guesthouse on Friday.

An SP leader said since the private accommodation of the party chief in a private township near Saheed Path was located far from the party office, he decided to move into the guesthouse situated near the state unit office. It will be easy for him to move to the party office and meet the party leaders from there, he said.
