Alison Janney scores Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress

Another year, another diverse (at least in one sense) range of films battling for Oscars glory have been announced.

The 2018 Oscars, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will be awarded Sunday, March 3.

Alison Janney has been nominated for her role in I, Tonya. She faces stiff competition from Octavia Spencer for her role in Shape of Water and Laurie Metcalf for Lady Bird.

Janney followed up her Golden Globes win for Best Supporting Actress with the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
