Congress seeks MP Guv's appointment to stake claim to form govt

BREAKING: Congress party seeks an appointment late tonight with the Governor to stake their claims to form a government in Madhya Pradesh.

The party has sought appointment by sending an email and a fax too.

The Congress is still short of half-way mark of 116, winning 75 seats so far and leading on 39 others.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has won 74 and is leading on 35 seats. -- with ANI inputs
