Mumbai police commissioner Subodh Kumar Jaiswal tweets:

'Deeply saddened by demise of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It was an honour and privilege working for him as incharge of his Close Protection Team during my tenure in SPG. Will cherish the fond memories throughout my life. Rest in Peace, Sir.'
