Banks start issuing new Rs 500 note

First new Rs 500 notes are being issued to people. Visuals from a bank in Bhopal.

So far, only Rs 2,000 and Rs 100 notes were being issued by banks to people who went to exchange old Rs 500/1,000 notes.

From today, Rs 500 notes are also issued. ANI
