Fire breaks out at Deonar dumping ground again
March 21, 2016  08:23
A major fire broke out on Sunday night at the Deonar dumping yard, which had recently battled a massive blaze that led to smog in the area.

The blaze broke out late night and fire tenders were rushed to contain the fire, a fire brigade official said.

It may be recalled that a major blaze had broken out at the city's biggest dumping yard, spread across 326 acres, in January and February and took fire brigade more than a week to douse it. It had created a thick blanket of smog across the entire vicinity which gave residents breathing problems.
