Truck zigzagged through Bastille Day revellers to kill maximum

The BBC reports that the Tunisian man's truck travelled 2km through the Bastille Day crowds on the Promenade des Anglais, killing and wounding dozens as it went. Eyewitnesses reported it swerved and zigzagged in an apparent attempt to hit more people.

Police have not yet released the attacker's name, but they said he lived in Nice. Other sources said previously he was already known to police for minor criminal offences.
