In Tamil Nadu, BJP may be weak, but its leaders are strong

The BJP may be weak in Tamil Nadu, but its state leaders occupy positions of strength. The Modi government has become saviours of BJP leaders from the state. The former BJP state President CP Radhakrishnan has been appointed as Chairman of the Coir Board and will operate from Kochi. This means that Radhakrishnan will get Union Minister of state status. The other BJP leader is H Raja, who has appointed  Chairman of the Railway Amenities Committee. Raja is well known to Modi as he always translates the PM's speeches Modi into Tamil.
