Announcement on MCD strike at 3pm: Kejriwal

As the Municipal Corporation of Delhi employees continue to protest over long-pending dues, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced that the Aam Aadmi Party government has tried to find a solution to end the ongoing strike.

The AAP chief today took to Twitter saying, "We have tried to find a solution to ongoing MCD strike. Will announce at 3 pm. Hope it satisfies everyone and the strike ends."

Kejriwal had last week expressed his support towards the demands of the agitating MCD workers who are on a strike over the non-payment of their dues.

The Delhi CM has maintained that the present MCD should be dissolved and fresh elections held.
