More than 100 rounds fired at Teotia

UPDATE: More than 100 rounds fired at senior BJP leader Brijpal Teotia and five others when they were attacked by armed assailants in Ghaziabad.

"Rifles, AK 47 have been used in the attack. We will soon probe the case," said additional director general (law and order) Daljeet Chaudhary.

"We are trying to arrest the culprits. Weapons used in the attack have been recovered," he added.

Union minister Mahesh Sharma visited the hospital where Teotia is undergoing an operation.

"Brijpal's life is in danger. He has been taken to operation theatre, doctors are trying to save him," Sharma said.
