Gujarat's 10% quota for economically backward rejected by HC

The High Court in Gujarat today rejected the state government's ordinance providing members of the economically weaker sections from unreserved category 10 per cent reservation in government jobs and educational institutions.The court was hearing petitions challenging the state government's May 1 ordinance.
