IPL 2016: Rising Pune Supergiants opt for Vizag, Bangalore likely to host final

The Rising Pune Supergiants are likely to play their matches in either Visakhapatnam or Raipur following the Bombay high court's verdict to move the Indian Premier League games after April 30 out of drought-hit Maharashtra. 

The IPL governing council, headed by tournament chairman Rajeev Shukla, is currently meeting the three affected teams - Pune Supergiants, Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab - to decide on their new venues.

BCCI sources told India Today that the Pune players have preferred Vizag. The franchise owners though are in favour of Raipur owing to better revenues.
