Delhi Police increases security cover of Kanhaiya, Umar Khalid

The security cover of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) president Kanhaiya Kumar and Umar Khalid have been increased following an alert by the Delhi Police.

A threat call was received by the Delhi Police claiming that a country made revolver and six cartridges were found in a DTC bus that runs between JNU and ISBT. The driver found the bag at around 6:00 p.m. yesterday following which the cops conducted a thorough search.
