Will turn this relationship into source of strength: Modi in Beijing

After signing 24 agreements worth $10 billion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a statement after China Premier Li Keiqang. Speaking to the media, Modi said he was glad to be in China in his first year of power. Commenting on their complex ties with China, Modi said, "We have a historic responsibility to turn this relationship into a source of strength for each other and a force of good for the world."

Speaking about the crucial boundary issue, Modi said, "We both reiterated our strong commitment to make all efforts to maintain peace and tranquility in the border region." He added, " On the boundary question, we agreed that we continue to explore a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable resolution."
