Lalit Modi ousted from Rajasthan Cricket Association

Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi was removed from the post of Rajasthan Cricket Association president as the members of the association passed a no-confidence motion against him and his office-bearers at the extraordinary general meeting.

Modi, who has been seeking to legitimise his return to the helm of RCA, was dealt a telling blow after the voting was carried out. His supporters though allege that they were denied entry and that their bus was even stoned by members of the rival faction.
