After South Carolina attack, another shooting at US church

Shots have been fired at a separate church in the nearby state of Tennessee. An unknown gunman have opened fire on a church in the 2000 block of Pendleton Street, Memphis. Police were reported to be on the scene, where a bullet was lodged in a wall of the church. There have been no reports of casualties.

News of the shooting broke just hours after a tragic attack on a historic black church in Charleston, South Carolina that left 9 people, including church pastor and state senator Rev Clementa Pinckney dead.
