CRPF jawans injured in grenade attack in Anantnag

Just in: Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF ) troopers were injured in a powerful grenade explosion in south Kashmir's Anantnag town this afternoon. A senior police officer said militants hurled a grenade at a posse of CRPF jawans on KP Road in Anantnag, which exploded injuring the two jawans. "The injured jawans were evacuated to hospital for treatment.  The area was surrounded by the security forces and a search operation is on," the officer said.
