Justice RM Lodha, who is heading the committee appointed by the Supreme Court to decide the fate of the IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), said that the panel has examined all the facts and worked to the best of its ability.

After delivering the landmark verdict, which proposed identical two-year suspensions on Indian Premier League franchises Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in the spot-fixing scandal that rocked the sixth edition of the T20 tournament in 2013, Justice Lodha said, "We have worked to the best our ability."

Set up in January by the apex court to determine the quantum of punishment in the case, the panel also recommended life suspensions on Chennai Super Kings official Gurunath Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royals's Raj Kundra from all cricket-related activities.
