In a veiled attack on AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi today called upon people of Delhi to vote for the BJP saying it can coordinate with the Centre for the city's overall development instead of sitting on dharna.

In a roadshow at Rohini, she also projected herself as the party's face in the polls, promising to bring in lot of changes in people's lives if BJP came to power.

"Ensuring security of women will be top priority," she said, adding trained volunteers will be inducted to strengthen civil defence forces. In an apparent attack on Kejriwal, she said the habit of sitting on dharnas and confrontational attitude will never help the city and its people.

"If the government goes to Jantar Mantar, then nothing will happen. This time vote for stable government and government with full majority. The government will be of new politics. It will not be a confrontational government. It will be a government of good governance," she said.
