Modi to visit Germany in April

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Germany in April when India will be the partner country at the Hannover Fair.

Conveying this to German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schuble who called on him here, Modi said he was looking forward to the visit to meet Chancellor Angela Merkel whom he had first met in Australia on the sidelines of G-20 Summit in October last year.

Modi and Schuble discussed the key areas of bilateral cooperation, like green energy, infrastructure, Make-in-India, affordable housing, and clean ganga, a PMO statement said.
