AAP to have another fund-raising event in Mumbai

Buoyed by the response it received from the fund-raising event in Mumbai last month, the AAP will again hold a similar event in that city, but this time it will be with three former ministers in the 49-day AAP government and not its chief Arvind Kejriwal. The party will hold a fund-raising event at Mumbai on January 9 where Somnath Bharti, Saurabh Bharadwaj and Satyendra Jain will give a talk on implementation of Swaraj during AAP's rule.

Party sympathiser and Roadies fame Raghu Ram would be hosting the event.

"They will share their experiences both as MLAs in implementing "Swaraj" and as ministers in the 49-day government," said a party source.

Interestingly, Kejriwal will be busy campaigning in the national capital. Bharti handled law, Bharadwaj looked after transport while Jain handled health portfolios in the then AAP government and are known faces of the party.
