Party leaders stay away from Advani's dos

He may have been shunned by the BJP top brass, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but veteran L K Advani is keeping busy, hosting parties at his residence. It's a different matter that the top leaders don't show up for these events.

In January, to mark Lohri, the member of BJP's Marg Darshak Mandal had invited a huge gathering, say sources, but no one turned up.

Regardless of this, he is going ahead with his 50th marriage anniversary celebrations on February 22, for which he has invited the top RSS leaders. That should suffice even if Modi himself doesn't turn up.
