Continuing his tirade against the party leadership, BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha fired a fresh salvo on the ongoing controversy surrounding finance minister Arun Jaitley and MP Kirti Azad.

Sinha tweeted: "Kirti Azad is hero. Have often quoted Newtons 3rd Law. Feel that untimely action cud boomerang. Sadly-Party with a Difference has become Party with Differences. I request friends not to take action against #KirtiAzad. As for FM, issue shud be fought politically not legally. As advised by our dashing dynamic PM, our FM cud follow Advanijis eg & come clean."

BJP leaders have been building a case of disciplinary action against Azad on the grounds of hobnobbing with opposition.

Senior Bihar BJP leader Sushil Modi charged the Darbhanga MP yesterday for "playing in the hands of opposition" and demanded "disciplinary action" against Azad.

To substantiate the ground of hobnobbing with opposition, several other BJP leaders also claimed and stressed that Kirti Azad had embarrassed the party in Lok Sabha on Monday at the nudge of opposition leader Sonia Gandhi by countering Arun Jaitley's clarification over DDCA controversy on the floor of the House.

Sinha, for his part, has been feeling left out and has been sulking after he was sidelined in the Bihar Assembly election campaign.
