Pandit Nehru spent maximum time in the jail for the cause of freedom. He started this paper to reach out to the people for their support for the freedom struggle. It was a party mouthpiece that we could not run despite being in office. Nobody will believe accusations that we or our leaders benefited from it," says Oscar Fernandes on the National Herald case.
