LS MPs want Rajya Sabha colleagues to boycott Parliament
August 06, 2015  14:30
Lok Sabha Congress MPs are upset with their colleagues in the Upper House that while they are on the streets boycotting Parliament, their colleagues have been able to draw their travel allowance and dearness allowance.

The suspended Lok Sabha MPs feel they are being isolated and want the Rajya Sabha MPs to stop signing the attendance register as well. When MPs do not sign the attendance register they cannot claim travel allowance or dearness allowance.

The Congress is "divided" in Parliament - according to a three time Congress MP - who is keen to end the impasse. First-timers in Parliament like Gaurav Gogoi and Sushmita Dev do not know the rules and regulations and mislead Rahul Gandhi to boycott Parliament with black arm bands and placards.
