Neel Mukherjee's novel shortlisted for Man Booker Prize 2014

British-Indian writer and Kolkata-born Neel Mukherjee's latest novel 'The Lives of Others' that is set in 1960s Bengal and revolves around a man's extremist political activism during troubled times has been shortlisted for the prestigious Man Booker Prize 2014. The Lives of Others is Mukherjee's second novel.
