In a major reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 11 IAS and 18 IPS officers, including district magistrates and police chiefs of several districts.

Principal Secretary (Labour) Shailesh Krishna has been given additional charge of Cooperative Societies, an official spokesman said here. Special Secretary (Finance) Surendra Kumar has been posted as the District Magistrate (DM) of Siddharth Nagar, whereas DM of Bulandshahr Nidhi Kesarwani has been put on the wait list, the spokesman said.

DM of Mathura V Chnadrakala has been sent to Bulandshahr in the same capacity. DM of Kannauj Rajesh Kumar has been posted as DM of Mathura.

Chief Executive Officer of UP Rural Road Development Authority Anuj Kumar Jha has been made the DM of Kannauj. Special Secretary (Mining) Santish Kumar Rai has been sent to Etah as the DM, replacing Selva Kumari J, who has been put on the wait list.
