Pakistani hackers hack web portals of Telagana, Andhra and Odisha

As many as 22 web portals of governments of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha were allegedly hacked, prompting the National Informatics Centre to launch a probe. The Telangana Information Technology Association lodged a complaint with cyber crime police station, attached to Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, alleging that 22 government websites were hacked by unknown Pakistan cyber hackers, said Assistant Commissioner of Police S Jayaram. "As the websites and servers are maintained by NIC and based on the complaint we spoke to the NIC authorities, who informed us that they were already in knowledge of the same and the matter is under investigation," the ACP said. After hacking the websites, the hackers put their logo and 'vulnerable text' on the homepages.
