Modi is like a son to Advani: Uma Bharti

BJP Vice President Uma Bharti will today meet senior party leader L K Advani who quit from all party posts on Monday.

She said Advani has very good relation with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and he would never get annoyed with the elevation of Gujarat Chief as the Chairman of BJP's Lok Sabha Poll Campaign Committee.

"Modi is like a son to him. It was Advani who had made Modi the Chief Minister of Gujarat and he (Modi) used to manage Advanis constituency all along," Uma told reporters on Advanis decision to resign from all party posts.

"Modi respects Advani a lot and his blessings are always with him (Modi). Their relationship is very good," she said.

Uma, who like Advani, had stayed away from the party's National Executive meet in Goa on the ground of poor health, said that despite being not well, she would be leaving for New Delhi to meet Advani on Tuesday morning.
