As investigations in the murder of Mid Day journalist J Dey shot dead by four gunmen on Saturday in suburban Mumbai remain inconclusive, here's something the newspaper needs to consider.

Asia Times Online fund has established a fund for the family of slain journalist Syed Saleem Shahzad, which will benefit his wife Anita, two sons aged 14 and seven, and daughter aged 12.

Asia Times Online's Pakistan bureau chief was murdered last week.
