Jaya: Chidambaram has cheated the nation

Jayalalithaa also took on Home Minsiter P Chidambaram saying he has defrauded the nation. She said the case is in the court, and refused to elaborate saying it was a known fact that PC had in fact lost the 2009 polls to her candidate.

What happened during the 2009 Lok Sabha poll for the Sivaganga constituency was that Chidambaram, who was declared a loser in that election by the media monitoring the counting, was suddenly declared a winner by a narrow margin of 3,354 votes following protracted counting after round wise count announcements were stopped.
