The Bangalore Crime Branch has stepped up the trail of Yaseen Bhatkal, the man they believe, is behind the blasts that rocked the Chinnaswamy stadium during the Indian Premier League.
In Bhatkal, a mother awaits the return of her son
A Crime Branch team, headed by Nagraj, reached Bhatkal on Wednesday morning and has questioned the family of Abdul Sammad, the youth who was recently released on bail by a Mumbai court. They questioned Sammad's uncle Yakub and sought details about Yaseen Bhatkal.
However, Yakub told the cops that they have not been in contact with Yaseen for the last four years. He had left them all four years ago and not once has he tried contacting them and telling them about his whereabouts.
Both the Bangalore and Pune police have been on Yaseen's trail since they feel that he is part of the Indian Mujahideen (IM) and was responsible for the Bangalore stadium and Pune blasts.
