Omraje Nimbalkar, son of slain Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar has joined Shiv Sena.
Omraje visited 'Matoshree', Thackeray family residence in suburban Bandra late Sunday night and was welcomed to the party by Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray.
Some director of the Co-Operative Sugar factory, controlled by Omraje in Osmanabad district, also joined the Sena, party spokesperson Neelam Gorhe told PTI.
Omraje is likely to be fielded by Sena for October 13 Maharashtra assembly elections, party sources said.
