J&K: 6 injured in accidental grenade explosion

At least six army troopers were injured on Thursday morning, one of them seriously, when a grenade went off accidentally inside a camp in Poonch district of Jammu region.

A defence spokesman confirmed that the accidental grenade explosion had occurred inside an army camp near the Line of Control in the Mendhar sector in Poonch district of Jammu region this morning.

"Six army men were injured in the accidental explosion. Condition of one of the injured troopers is critical and he was evacuated for treatment to Jammu," the spokesman said.
