RSS chief meets Bal Thackeray

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat met Shiv Sena [ Images ] supremo Bal Thackeray [ Images ] at the latter's residence in suburban Bandra on Thursday.

In a brief meeting with Thackeray, Bhagwat enquired about his health and discussed issues related to the state Assembly polls scheduled on October 13, Sena leaders said.

Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray [ Images ], Sena leader Subhash Desai, Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] general secretary Gopinath Munde [ Images ] were present. The RSS chief was in Mumbai [ Images ] to attend a two-day meet of senior RSS and BJP leaders.
