The autopsy reports of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and four others killed in the chopper crash will be handed over to CB (CID) and Directorate of Civil Aviation probing the mishap.

The forensic team that conducted the post-mortem submitted the reports in a sealed cover to Kurnool district police yesterday.

The reports would be handed over to CB (CID) and Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA), which are probing the crash, Kurnool Superintendent of Police Ch Srikant said.

"We have received the reports. As they are sealed (to be handed over to investigating agencies), we don't know the contents," he said.

Post-mortems were conducted on the charred remains of Reddy, his principal secretary P Subramanyam, Chief Security Officer ASC Wesley, Group Pilot S K Bhatia and co-pilot M S Reddy in a makeshift facility at the Andhra Pradesh Special

Police battalion grounds on Thursday, soon after the bodies were brought from Nallamala forest range in Kurnoool, where the chopper crashed.

The post-mortems were conducted by a forensic team led by the Superintendent of Kurnool Government General Hospital Dr Prasad.
