AP: Rs 10 lakh relief for crash victims

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Saturday announced Rs 10 lakh each as immediate relief to the bereaved families of the two officers and two pilots who died in the helicopter crash along with Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy on September 2.

Rosaiah said Rs 10 lakh was only an immediate ex-gratia as a measure  of relief as the circumstances were very special and they were all serving officials to a serving chief minister. . He also directed Chief Secretary P Ramakanth Reddy to work out on a comprehensive package, including employment to the kith and kin of the bereaved officers and the aid would be announced soon.
